About Me
I love love, even though I forgot how to say it in Latin when I was a contestant on Jeopardy! And I channel that love into writing happy ever afters where people are loved because of, not in spite of, the things they see as their flaws.
My novel THE PLUS ONE PACT received the 2024 RWA Golden Heart Award for Excellence In Pre-Published Romance, and I was recently named a finalist in the inagural Pages of Passion Competition. My indie holiday novella THE COWBOY CHRISTMAS GLOW UP was nominated for two 2025 Indieverse awards. In March 2024, I was selected for the KissPitch Mentorship program for romance writers.

My career as a clinical social worker, along with my own experience living with disability, allow my characters to embrace the tough stuff without it becoming a cliché, incorporating themes related to mental health and addiction with authenticity, heart, and humor. An experienced trainer and consultant, I have been a featured presenter at regional and national conferences on a variety of topics related to mental health, substance use, trauma and recovery.
When I'm not working or writing, you can find me on dance mom duty with my daughter, singing with my son, or trying new restaurants with my husband. I am an unabashed pop music stan, especially all things Taylor and Olivia. Forever a theater kid in recovery, musical theater will always be my first love, and I'm slowly indoctrinating my kids into that song and dance life. I'm obsessed with bubbly beverages, the color pink, the Boston Celtics, and the beach. I live and write in central Massachusetts, meaning Dunkin over Starbucks, always.
